Use glass jars for food storage
I use canning jars as well as wash and remove labels from all sorts of glass jars I re-use (especially the wide mouth ones). I then store my dry goods/snacks/teas etc. in them. It looks nice when I open my cupboards and makes for easy identifying of dry fruits, nuts, teas, snacks, sugar... etc...
